The consultancy offers a range of services across a number of chemical sectors including weight-of-evidence assessments of carcinogenic potential in line with the ICH S1B(R1) guideline, underpinned by Lhasa\u2019s best-in-class in silico solutions that enable confident decisions.<\/p>\n<p>This is an exctiing opportunity to apply your expertise in a number of areas to support the progression of safe medicines. You will not only deliver scientific consulting work but also contribute to the development of new in silico systems \u00a0that underpins the decision you make.<\/p>\n<h3><b><span data-contrast=\"none\">Main Responsibilities<\/span><\/b><span include but are not limited to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct carcinogenic potential assessments (ICH S1B(R1)) integrating in vitro, in vivo, computational predictions and literature data, across different stages of drug development.<\/li>\n<li>Contextualise evidence , issuing hazard\/potency classifications with an associated level of confidence.<\/li>\n<li>Lead client meetings to support interpretation of results and discuss next steps.<\/li>\n<li>Help define and refine best-practice methodology\u00a0 for performing ICH S1B(R1) WoE assessments, an area that is still being established in the industry.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute directly to the development and maintenance of Lhasa\u2019s software &#8211; not only relaying client feedback but working hands-on with the products team on content, rule logic, testing, or feature definition.<\/li>\n<li>Help expand and curate the scientific content of within Lhasa\u2019s in silico solutions network based on consulting experience.<\/li>\n<li>Support scoping and qualification of prospective consulting engagements, using considerations such as domain fit, expected frequency of use, in-house client skills, and data-sharing willingness.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>About you<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree in Toxicology, Pharmacology, Biology or a related field, with experience in carcinogenic risk assessment or non-clinical drug safety<\/li>\n<li>Industry experience of performing complex weight-evidence-assessments, including for carcinogenicity assessments<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of ICH S1B(R1) and the ability to build defensible scientific narratives for regulatory use.<\/li>\n<li>Strong client communication skills (in English) and critical thinking to handle incomplete or conflicting evidence.<\/li>\n<li>Genuine willingness and ability to work hands-on with a software\/product team\u2014 this is a core part of the role, not an occasional extra.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Desirable attributes<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Prior experience with Lhasa software.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in pharmaceutical industry focus on this area.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with programming, rule-based systems, or
